Northwest Sports Connection provides a personally tailored service for athletes which will get their name and accomplishments out to schools that will best fit that student – athlete.

Headed by Mike Magee, Northwest Sports Connection assists in helping students and parents understand the ins and outs of the recruiting process. Mr. Magee has been a pleasure to work with this past season and I am looking forward to share his service with all those in our volleyball program here at Mt. Spokane High School.

To all sports parents and their high school athletes;

Daniel, Joe, and I have just returned from Washington State University in Pullman, WA. We enjoyed a wonderful "official visit weekend" courtesy WSU Cougar Football. This would not have happened without Mike Magee. He answered every question, listened to every concern and brainstormed with me many times in the past two years of Dan's high school football. Together, we made it through the maze of NCAA regulations, high school and college expectations, academic requirements, and overall marketing of our student athlete. With much hard work completed,Daniel will sign his National Letter of Intent Wednesday February 6th, 2008.

Mike, our child is living his dream. For this - we are eternally grateful.

It has been a great pleasure to meet and work with Mike Magee. Mike has tapped into an area of great interest and emotion for the parents of college-bound athletes: athletic scholarship opportunities.

The superstars in high school are indeed sought after with great zeal by colleges and universities. I know this to be true in my own experience, having coached Adam Morrison, now with the Charlotte Bobcats. As Mike emphasizes, however, there are a considerable number of other student-athletes who may not shine as brightly as an Adam Morrison, but who do have both the talent and aspirations to play in college.

There is an old axiom regarding recruiting: If the player is good enough, coaches will find him or her. The reality is, though, many student-athletes never have the opportunity to be “found” because their attributes aren’t properly displayed on the table of college recruiting. Mike’s program will provide the knowledge and the avenues to allow student-athletes a much better chance of being recognized and recruited.

Our family has had a great experience with Mike Magee and NWSC. Mike is very down to earth but still very professional. He is easy to work with and was very available whenever we had questions. We felt he was very knowledgeable about how to connect our daughter with the school coaches that would be most interested in her qualities. By sending out her profile to so many schools in such a short period of time, Mike saved us so much time and frustration on our part. The profile that he created for my daughter was very attractive and informative and is something that we are very happy to have. I was definitely happy with the level of service offered by Mike Magee and NWSC.
